Cronin Papers: Masanori Murakami
For the past month or so, Maury Brown, co-chair of SABR's Business Committee, has been doing a series on the personal documents of Joe Cronin (AL president, 1959-1973) provided by his grandson. A recent entry has a February 1965 letter from Ford Frick (MLB Commissioner, 1951-1965) to all MLB teams concerning Masanori Murakami and the relationship of Japanese and American baseball clubs. Anyway it seems rather interesting as a primary document. The entry is here.
