Upgrade ideas for Pro Yakyu Spirits 2?

Upgrade ideas for Pro Yakyu Spirits 2?
As much as I like Pawapuro 12, sometimes you just need the ridiculously realistic graphics of Pro Yakyu Spirits. As far as potential goes, the Spirits brand has a lot more potential to improve than Pawapuro. What are some of your wishes for future Spirits games?

I'd like to see player specific batting stances and pitching forms for most guys. There are a lot now, but there are still a bunch of guys who need them. I'd also like to see the generic stances thrown away completely and make way for newer, more realistic stances.

Dead balls are way too rare. There need to be at least one a game. Pitching should be more unpredictable like Pawapuro. Anyone with solid timing can pitch to corners easily, and that's not realistic.

Konami needs to stop using that homerun cutaway thing. I used to like it on the 2002 version, since Nori would toss his bat. It's old now.

More fielding animations, of course. WAAAAAY more player specific theme music. I'd also like to see a more detailed Pennant Mode with free agency and salaries.

I want to see more injuries. I have yet to see a baseball game that actually uses injuries well. Although I use the conditions to put in some players from the bench, but I want to see some more injuries so some of my backups get more playing time. I also want to see some pitching injuries. If you keep him in the game too long with a high pitch count, there should be a great chance that the pitcher becomes injured.

I want more individual music. I'm tired of the generic song.

I want to see the CPU rob a homerun from me from time to time and vice versa

Oh, and I would like them to bring back the emperor's cup from The Baseball 2003.

I never played that version but seen the vidoe and it looked way better than the rookie mode

"I have yet to see a baseball game that actually uses injuries well."

Most baseball games I have played too, never seemed to have realistic injuries, maybe baseball games need to take a page out of football games.

Though I have got mostly annoyed at the unrealistic gameplay of most MLB video games today and have stopped playing them all together. I haven't touched a major league baseball video game since MLB 2005. I used to play the MLB series every year starting in 2000, but now the series has got too simulated, the gameplay has got too difficult, and fielding too genertic. I have got fed up with baseball games in general. I used to play them all the time, now I see them as dropping the ball.

With Konami and Namco, from what I seen on video footage it looks great. The Jikkyuo Powerful Pro Yakyu Series has a longer series life than most, it has been around since the SNES days. The Jikkyuo Powerful Pro Yakyu PSP version ought to be interesting, listening to the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Knowing that the PSP is free from regional restriction it would be a game for a lot of Americans to buy looking for a Japanese baseball game.

Hey John, don't let those videos fool you. I have Baseball Live 2005 and played the Pro Yakyuu Spirits and there are still plenty of work to be made.

Baseball Live is like MLB series meets All Star Baseball. The animation is very jerky like throwing the ball and catching the ball. I've seen the player twist his arm and make the catch and then threw the ball in a wierd position.

Pro Yakyuu Spirits is very good but there are Zero injuries during the season. And its easy to hit HRs with powerful hitters but extremely hard to hit HRs with someone that have average power. The pitching is good but every pitcher have great control even though their control is an F or G.

Don't get me started with MLB games. I hate MLB games because they never seem to work on the GAME and solely concentrate on some gimmick. MVP 2005 had the Hitter's eye which was stupid as hell. Why would you want to know what pitch is coming? It will only increase the numbers of hits and give you unrealistic stats and scores.
ESPN had K-Zone pitch and a horrible cursor type of mechanics that it was impossible to get into. And the glitches was downright embarrassing for a major game company to produce.
MLB 2006 was the only one that showed some light but it was messed up with freezing and just a boring career mode.

MLB games are just boring compared to Japanese baseball game .

Yep, work is still to be made in every baseball game made, as every one I've played have been no where near perfect. I'm just afraid that we'll never see a perfect baseball game or anything close to it these days. Also, major league baseball games look like they have a terrible future in the United States, as now we get terrible games with 2K Games third party monopoly.

All Star Baseball I never want to pick up after playing All Star Baseball 03 because of the controls, MLB used to be good but it took a nose dive in 04(though still playable by far), though MLB 05 took the cake. I just couldn't stand the fielding controls, they changed the controls after having them the same(or it just seems this way). Hitting has got more balanced now, but the game has got too simulated, injuries are too few and far and few between in baseball games.

The Triple Play Series(now the MVP Series or a thing of the past)was too easy for too many home runs, but I couldn't field in it, so I didn't play it too much of Triple Play 00. Hardball 99 was too much of a simulator for Playstation with more players than a fantasy baseball simulator, but gameplay was terrible and boring.

I must admit I cant stand playing seasons in baseball games, I was more of a exhibition player. One that would love to sit there and play exhibition games for hours, regardless of system: SNES, Sega Genesis, SNES, Game Boy, Playstation, N64, Playstation 2, and many more systems.

One of the most favorite baseball games I've played was the old World Series Baseball games made by Sega back on the Genesis.

I really don't have the paitence to play a full season in a baseball game, the only season I've ever played in a baseball game was in Ken Griffey Jr Present's Major League Baseball for Game Boy(a 25-30 game season), I just find a 162 gm season boring. I played this game so much that I'm lucky if it will start or even work.

Oh, I also want an Intentional Walk button. I hate throwing 4 balls just to walk a batter that I want to walk. That just making my stamina go up for no reason.

Pro Yakyu is by far better than anything in the US. I would like to have a check-swing button the next version. I would also like to see more disparity in the speed of individual outfielders.
