Question for Jo about PawaMajor
How can you possibly hit homeruns with digital batting and assisted meet cursor with no mit cursor? Also, what's your approach at the plate? When do you use normal and power cursor?

Any advice on pitching? I give up a few too many hits and don't get enough Ks.

I don't play actual games with DIGITAL batting, ASSISTED meet cursor, and no mit cursor...at least not any more. I tried it for a bit, but I found it too challenging. I won a few games, but it just wasn't fun.

But go into Practice Mode and start hacking...

Not in regular Batting Practice, but in the "Free-Play" Mode where you run the bases too.

I've hit some amazing homers and triples with DIGITAL and ASSISTED in "Free-Play" mode...and with NO MIT CURSOR.

Though in Exhibition and Season games, I currently play with DIGITAL and LOCK-ON, and NO MIT CURSOR.

As for my approach at the plate, the general rule would be: swing for power until 2 strikes then switch to contact. But this is a general rule. I'm playing a season with the White Sox and I often go down power-swinging with Konerko looking for that high pitch even though I've got 2 strikes.

But with other guys, I tend to bat for contact more often...especially if they run well.

Pitching gave me trouble at first too. Here's the "new thing" in PawaMajor that seems to work:

DO NOT try to constantly paint the corners. Envision the entire strike zone, and try to hit as many DIFFERENT places within the entire strike zone as you can. If you constantly try to paint the corners, the CPU will figure you out and rip you. But if you work on hitting ALL PARTS OF THE STRIKE ZONE, you should have more success. And as always, mixing pitches and speeds is crucial.

And don't be afraid to throw some Balls too.

Throw Balls and don't always go for the far/exacct edges of the strike zone. Once I started doing this, my "hits allowed" and "K" totals seemed to fall into line.
