I am looking to buy this game because on the site it says that the game is formatted for NTSC(US,CANADA). Is this possible?

I don't see how, as the game would be blocked on NTSC U/C PS2's. Which would include all U.S. and Canadian PS2's. Which site did you see that it say it was NTSC U/C compatible, because I can assure you it wasn't Namco's website.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
