What to expect from the Next Gen...
Here is footage of the new MLB 2K7 game for the Xbox360. Needless to say, I don't think Konami pushed the hardware much with last year's Pro Yakyu Spirits on the 360.

After seeing the clips i was thinking the same thing. Hopefully this years edition of Pro Yakyu Spirits will use the full potential of the next gen systems 360 and ps3. But then again if this years edition of mlb 2k7 plays like last years edition, all the pretty graphics wont mean a thing.

On the topic of next-gen, Konami has confirmed it is working on the latest Pro Yakyu Spirits game for PS3. Hopefully it will be built from the ground up rather than just a slightly prettier version of the PS2 game (which is what the Xbox360 version seemed to be last year).

Not sure if the game is in development for the 360 this year though.

Just in case you guys didn't notice, Konami has a website up for what will be their Ps3 Spirits game. Nothing there yet though...just a shot of home plate.
