Pawapuro 10K Help
Um... I've recently purchased a used copy of Pawapuro 10K as a way to compare against 13. I really like 10 except for one thing...

...doing the Success All-Stars Scenario...

I noticed that the only way to fully customize your own player is to do this mode. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of the AI when you train.

The only reason why I want to do this is to make a Suzumiya Haruhi no yuuutsu baseball team and I need a SP/2B (Haruhi), CL/2B (Kyon), and 2 C/OF's (Nagato & Koizumi).

I've been able to get to the match to get into the top 3, but then just get annihilated usually getting 1 or 2-hit. This has happened every time I've played, and it's getting rather frustrating.

My biggest issue (and it applied to 13) is that I'm an away hitter. I can't pull the ball to save my life and almost always hit opposite field. Also, I can't use the power setting while batting either (only in 10). It's pretty much either a whiff or a blooper which defeats the purpose. Also in the match to get to 3rd, almost all my hits are those of the "boink" variety (boink as in it's like a hit off the end of the bat, etc.

Am I missing something, or are my reflexes just too darn slow to play this?

If you're slapping too much, it means your timing is off. Try to swing earlier. Hit up the training mode.
